DAY 1 - INTO THE HIGHLANDS
We begin our journey north, travelling through the English and Scottish borders before pausing at the stylish Cairn Lodge for a late-morning break. With its artisan bakery, fresh produce and calm atmosphere, it's the perfect introduction to the relaxed pace of this Scenic SELECT escape.
By mid-afternoon we arrive at Dunkeld House Hotel, beautifully set on the banks of the River Tay. There's time to settle in, explore the grounds, enjoy the spa or simply relax by the fire before dinner. A warm Highland welcome awaits.

DAY 2 - FOREST, FLAVOUR & DUNKELD EXPERIENCES
After breakfast, we visit The Hermitage, one of Scotland's most atmospheric forest walks. Towering Douglas firs, tumbling waterfalls and the dramatic viewpoint of Ossian's Hall create a sense of calm and wonder.
There's time to explore the charming village of Dunkeld before lunch, after which the afternoon opens into a choice of Dunkeld House experiences. Guests may relax in the spa, enjoy a gentle riverside walk, try their hand at clay shooting or archery, meet the hotel's working gundogs, or simply unwind in the peaceful grounds.
Later, we gather for a highlight of the break: a Chocolate & Whisky Pairing Experience, where Highland and Speyside whiskies meet artisan chocolates in a guided tasting that celebrates craft, landscape and flavour.

DAY 3 - LOCH KATRINE & THE JOURNEY HOME
We leave Dunkeld after breakfast and travel into the Trossachs for a serene cruise on Loch Katrine. With its wooded hillsides, soft light and gentle waters, this iconic loch offers a peaceful and nostalgic finale to the Break.
After the cruise, we pause again at Cairn Lodge for a relaxed lunch before continuing south through the Lowlands and into England. We return home in the late afternoon, carrying with us the flavours, stories and gentle atmosphere of Highland Perthshire.
